Artist Statement
I produce art because the ache inside of me wants to reveal the love and soulful expressions I see in people, animals, color and life. God revealed through my eyes to heart, to hand, to brush, to canvas.
I see visions, I see different colors, different angles that interest me, and the eyes...the well to the soul.
My art is primarily oils, pencil/charcoal, and pastel. It is the fusion of life experiences and what is yet to come. When I paint people, I want to reveal their life and create a piece of artwork through the subject. When I paint an animal, I put as much effort into them and aim to create a distinguished creature.
My imagination keeps me awake at night with all the visions and dreams that roll around in my head. Painting, drawing or just creating sends me to a world where my pure potentiality expands and I am a child again!
